SUMMARY
Jivotica is proud to present Series 1 in a new collection of fan art based on The Dark Crystal. Rather than make statues of the various characters from this film (companies like MINDstyle, Plan-B and NECA are already doing that), we have chosen to focus on the non-character elements of the film - the architecture, props and symbols of the world created by Jim Henson, Brian Froud and a host of other enormously talented artists.

We are offering these pieces as our way of celebrating the film and (given how little has been produced for fans of the Dark Crystal) to help fellow collectors flesh out their collections.

DETAILED PRODUCT STORY
SKEKSI CARVING
This triangular relief represents the Great Conjunction as seen by the Skeksi. The three suns are seen in the corners of the triangle on their inevitable path toward the center. The vulture/worm-like symbol of the Skeksi dominates the center preparing to devour the suns as they converge thereby ensuring the Skeksi rule forever.

MYSTIC CARVING
The carved representation of the Great Conjunction fashioned by the Mystics is also in the form of a triangle - though by contrast, it is a marvel of gentle balance and harmony symbolizing the Mystic's incorruptible respect for the forces of nature and their desire for peace in the world.
